The Poppy Protocol

About Us

Our mission for the Poppy Protocol is to provide easy access to information about overdoses, drugs, and helplines in this modern age.

In 2021 over 100,000 drug overdose deaths occurred in the US1, many of which were preventable with earlier medical intervention.

In a time where 46.6% of teens have used illicit drugs by the 12th grade2, and 11.2% of overdose deaths are in ages 15 to 242, the ability to recognize the symptoms of an overdose and act accordingly is of the utmost importance.

Preventing drug use and drug-related deaths start with educating our youth, and the Poppy Protocol aims to do this.

The Poppy Protocol also aims to prevent drug use and encourage safe withdrawal practices by providing a myriad of resources and helplines.
